Art Exhibition organized by UNG students enrolled in ART 3570 Mexican and U.S. Latinx Art (Spring 2023), and featuring students from North Georgia high schools.
This exhibition invites students from North Georgia area high schools to submit artworks exploring Hispanic, Latin American, and Latino/a/e/x culture, as well as the experiences of Hispanics, Latin Americans, and Latinos/as/x in the United States. We propose that Latino/a/e/x art is jointly rooted in traditions that spring from Latin American countries and in transculturalism, where artists reformulate their roots as part of their interactions and experiences with other cultures.
